Due to its mineral content, Aur'a has naturally high alkalinity with a pH of 8.25. Many studies suggest that highly alkaline water (pH above 7) has a range of health benefits. As opposed to some products on the market, which achieve high alkalinity artificially, Aur'a is naturally alkaline, and therefore easily recognised by the body.

With a desire to keep its properties intact, Aur'a is bottled at source (only 47 m from where it springs) in glass bottles only.

The spring is located in a remote area without industrial, agricultural or tourist activities, away from any possible sources of pollution; the water is microbiologically pure – no bacteria, no organic matter, no heavy metals, no concentrations of nitrates or nitrites.

Aur'a springs to the surface naturally filtered by sand, gravel, cobble, clay and topsoil, naturally purified, with a perfectly balanced mineral content of calcium, magnesium and potassium. With a low content of sodium, Aur'a is suitable for a low sodium diet.
