White willow contains salicin, a chemical similar to aspirin, responsible for pain relief and inflammation reduction due to its powerful anti-inflammatory flavonoids.
Simmer 1-2 teaspoons of the bark for 15 minutes in a covered pan. Strain and let cool slightly before drinking.
Do not use if suffering from kidney or liver issues or are sensitive to aspirin.
