Description

Folic acid with DHA is designed to be taken before and during pregnancy. Folic acid (folate) is a member of the vitamin B complex family which contributes to a reduction in tiredness and fatigue, the normal function of the immune system, normal psychological function, and the processes of normal homocysteine metabolism, amino acid synthesis, cell division and blood formation.

Folic acid is for all women planning a pregnancy. The advice is to take a daily supplement when trying to conceive until at least the 12th week of pregnancy. Viridian Folic Acid with DHA contains 400ug of folic acid which is the recommended level.

Folic acid with DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) also provides 10mg of DHA. This essential fatty acid, when taken during pregnancy contributes to normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infants. Vegan & 3 months supply
