Irish Botanica® Peace & Calm Valerian Liquid

Since ancient times people have used Valerian as an effective tonic. The Romans used it as a strengthening tonic and graced the plant with a string of feminine names.

Valerian is key in protecting the body against the effects of stress.  It helps support the body during times of stress and can help promote better sleep quality.

• Calming and relaxing (Emotionally, mentally and physically)
• Sleep inducing
• Relieves irritability and anxiety
• Relieves nervous tension
• Has an antispasmatic effect on muscles

Each 5ml of oral liquid contains 2ml of tincture from dried valerian root (1:2). Also includes water, liquorice liquid extract, sweet orange oil, lemon oil, coriander oil, star anise oil, ethanol and sucrose. 

Adults & the elderly: -

For the symptomatic relief of mild mental stress: Take one 5ml spoonful three times a day with water or fruit juice if desired

- To aid sleep: Take one 5ml spoonful 30 minutes before bedtime with an earlier dose during the evening if necessary.
Long-term insomnia:

• Take 5ml two times a day during the day (Morning and lunch).
• Take one 5ml spoonful 30 minutes before bedtime.

 Acute insomnia:

• Take one 5ml spoonful 30 minutes before bedtime.
• Take one 5ml  teaspoon If you wake up in the night.
• Higher doses can also be taken up to 10ml twice a night if needed.

Symptomatic relief of mild anxiety:

• Take one 5ml spoonful-can be taken with water or fruit juice as desired.
• Maximum daily dose: Four single doses.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. This product contains ethanol. Harmful for people suffering from alcoholism. If symptoms persist or worsen after 2 weeks, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
