Nettle is a famed inhabitant of the English countryside, and a member of the Urticaceae family, derived from the Latin, uro, meaning "to burn". However, this feisty stinging species provides a natural home for butterflies and once prepared into a tea, it offers a gentle infusion with a rich earthy flavour.
