Important Information

Urine ketone test strips measure ketones excreted in urine. Results can be affected by hydration, diet, and how your body adapts to a ketogenic diet. They do not directly measure blood ketone levels and should not be used alone to assess overall health or nutritional ketosis.

If you have diabetes, particularly type 1 diabetes, or experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or rapid breathing, seek appropriate medical advice. Do not rely on home urine testing to rule out diabetic ketoacidosis.
