Pollen may be an irritant for allergy sufferers, but the story doesn’t end there. It is used in the beehive to feed the larvae, whose rapid development needs a lot of energy. Pollen is also the basic building block for the miracle food that is royal jelly. We added 5% pollen to the honey, so the RDA for adults is 1 to 3 tsp. Honey with bee pollen is also suitable for children, but we recommend half the dosage.
