NOW Foods L-Lysine 1000mg is a double-strength essential amino acid supplement providing 1,000mg of L-lysine per tablet. Lysine is an essential amino acid that the body cannot produce and therefore must be obtained through food or supplementation. It is required for protein production and helps support the structural proteins collagen and elastin, which are important components of connective tissues including skin, tendons and bones.
