Sonnentor Organic Galangal is a premium organic spice made from finely ground galangal root, known for its warm, slightly citrusy and peppery flavour. Often used in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine, galangal adds depth and complexity to both savoury and sweet dishes. 

It is often used as a pepper substitute due to its fine, dry spiciness. In Thailand, galangal is used in a wide range of food, such as in the chicken soup Tom Kha Gai. Also a popular ingredient for Indonesian satays.
