Besides saffron and vanilla, cardamom is one of the most expensive spices. But that does not detract from its popularity! Thanks to gingerbread, punch and cinnamon buns, it's a big hit with us, especially at Christmas time. For us, cardamom is the icing on the cake all year round in coffee, compote, cake and curries.
