Selenium also contributes to normal spermatogenesis and the development of sperm cells.

Ensuring adequate levels of selenium in your diet or supplement routine will help to keep hair and nails healthy, and support normal functioning of the thyroid. Selenium can naturally be found in eggs, poultry, fish, and Brazil nuts.
